Al Jalaa lands Mourad El Mabrouk, ex ES Rades

Al Jalaa Aleppo (SBL) landed experienced 35-year old Tunisian international 194cm shooting guard Mourad El Mabroukto play starting the Final Four Stage of the Syrian Basketball League 2021-2022

El Mabrouk moved there from ES Rades in Tunisian ProA where he played this season.

He has been also a member of Tunisian international program for some years. El Mabrouk has regularly played for Tunisian senior team since 2020 and previously for U18 National Team between 20 and 2004.

He represented Tunisia at the Afrobasket Championship five years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.8apg, FGP: 36.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 85.7%.
El Mabrouk has played previously professionally also in France (Nantes) and Tunisia (US Monastir, Ezzahra and Club Africain Tunis).

He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Jalaa.
He is described as: A big bodied SG who can be a true threat from outside, given his great three-point shooting accuracy.
