SBL Round 22: Al Nawaeer lose to Al Jaish in the game between Top 4 teams

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Damascus. Fourth ranked host Al Jaish (15-6) defeated their close opponent Al Nawaeer (12-10) 89-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Nawaeer. Al Jaish have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-6 record. Al Nawaeer at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Al Jaish are looking forward to face higher ranked Al Karameh (#3) in Homs in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Al Nawaeer will have a break next round.
The game in Homs was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Al Ittihad (21-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Al Wathba (11-11). Al Ittihad managed to secure a 4-point victory 61-57. Al Ittihad have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-2 record having just two point less than leader Al Wahda. Al Wathba lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. Al Ittihad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Wathba will play on the road against Al Jalaa (#5) in Aleppo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 22 Al Taleiah won against Al Hurriyeh on the opponent's court 78-73. Hutteen managed to outperform Al Thawra in a home game 63-50.
