Al Jaish moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Wathba. Loser Al Thawra still closes the standings with five games lost. Al Jaish will meet Al Faiha (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Al Thawra will play against the league's second-placed Al Ittihad in Aleppo and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 8: Al Taleiah was destroyed by Al Ittihad on the opponent's court 107-51. Al Faiha was outscored by Al Wathba in a home game 67-92. Al Jalaa managed to beat Al Nawaeer on the road 77-71.
