Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Hutteen - Al Jalaa 48-71 Very expected game in Lattakia where bottom-ranked Hutteen (0-6) was crushed by fifth ranked Al Jalaa (4-2) 71-48 on Wednesday. Al Jalaa maintains fifth position with 4-2 record. Loser Hutteen still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Al Faiha. Al Taleiah - Al Nawaeer 57-67 The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Al Nawaeer's (3-3) road victory over 9th ranked Al Taleiah (1-11) 67-57 on Wednesday. Al Nawaeer moved-up to sixth place. Al Taleiah lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Al Faiha - Al Thawra 60-70 Al Thawra has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they defeated Al Faiha (0-6) 70-60 on Wednesday. Al Thawra (1-5) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Al Faiha's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Hutteen. Al Jaish - Al Karameh 85-91 The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Al Jaish (5-1) in Damascus on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by top-ranked Al Karameh (6-0) 91-85. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Jaish. Al Karameh have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Al Jaish at the other side dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. Al Wathba - Al Wahda 77-82 Not a big story in a game in Homs where 7th ranked Al Wathba (3-9) was defeated by top-ranked Al Wahda (11-0) 82-77 on Thursday. Al Wahda have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. Al Wathba lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. Al Hurriyeh - Al Ittihad 59-96 Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Aleppo: Al Ittihad (#2) and Al Hurriyeh (#8). Al Hurriyeh was smashed at home by 37 points 59-96 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Al Ittihad (11-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain second position having just one point less than leader Al Wahda. Al Hurriyeh at the other side keeps the eighth place with three games lost. |
