Abdulwahab Alhamwi

Al Ittihad Aleppo (Division I) tabbed 31-year old international 218cm center Abdulwahab Alhamwi for new season 2021-2022 c Alhamwi played most recently at Al Karameh.

He helped them to win the league title 2020-2021 despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Al Jaish.

Alhamwi has been also a member of Syrian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Syrian senior team since 2009 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2009.

Alhamwi represented Syria at the Asian Games in Jakarta (Indonesia) three years ago.
He has played also professionally in Egypt (Al Gezira).

Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-WABA Champions Cup 1st Team in 2019.
