Al Thawra sign a second USA player, ex Nottingham

Al Thawra Damascus (D1) landed 26-year old American 165cm guard Chelsey Shumpert, college: Union, TN for new season. Shumpert joins another USA player Chanita Jordan who is already in the roster.
She has played for the last three years at Nottingham Wildcats in British WBBL. In 22 games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 19.1ppg and recorded 5.9rpg, 4.7apg and 2.7spg (in top 2) last season.
She graduated from Union University in 2018 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
