Wael Jlilaty

Al Ittihad Aleppo (Division I) added to their roster 30-year old international forward Wael Jlilaty (199-90). It is actually his comeback to Aleppo as he has played here before. Jlilaty played last summer at Al Jalaa in the Division I.
He also represented Syria at the West Asia Basketball Championships in Amman (Jordan) three years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 6.6ppg, 1.0rpg, FGP: 55.6%, 3PT: 27.3%, FT: 57.1%.
Jlilaty has played previously for played also at Al Wahda.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Syrian League Regular Season in 2019. Jlilaty was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Honorable Mention back in 2011.
