SK Knights are the new KBL champions. They beat DB Promy in the sixth game of the championship series to capture the trophy. DB Promy was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Central African-American power forward James Mays (206-86, college: Clemson) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Deonte Burton (193-94, college: Iowa St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Rodrique Benson (207-84, college: California) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
