Voss' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

34-year old American power forward Colin Voss (201-PF-1991, agency: Slash Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for SG Basketball and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Tagawa (4-3) 82-72. SG Bball maintains the 5th position in Singapore league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. SG Bball will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Voss had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be SG Bball's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Russell Low-Wen (200-C-1993) of league's second-best Eng Tat Hornets. He is Malaysian center in his 8th season at Hornets. In the last game Low-Wen recorded an impressive double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Hornets to edge the lower-ranked Tungsan (#10, 1-6) by 2 points 88-86. Hornets' second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 6 matches. Low-Wen is one of the most experienced players at Hornets and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Xing-Yuan Han (189-SF-1996) of Xin Hua Sports Club (#8). Han scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Xin Hua, leading his team to a 103-70 easy win against the higher-ranked Siglap (#3, 4-3). The chances of Xin Hua not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Han could try to bring Xin Hua's a little bit higher in the standings. Han has a very solid season. In 6 games in Singapore he scored 15.2ppg. He also has 5.5rpg and a FGP of 59.3%.
