Lim's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

35-year old power forward Shengyu Lim (192-F/C-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked SG Basketball and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Chong Ghee (#6, 1-2) with 19-point margin 91-72. SG Bball maintains the 2nd position in Singapore league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and SG Bball won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Lim had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at SG Bball, through which he has constantly improved. Lim has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 15.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 4.0spg and 71.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jay-Shay Lin of Chong Ghee. He is a in his first season at Chong Ghee. In the last game Lin recorded an impressive 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Chong Ghee lost that game 72-91 to SG Bball (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Lin is one of the most experienced players at Chong Ghee and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.3ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 5.3rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another SG Bball's star - Shi-Yang Ng. Ng scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was another key player of SG Basketball, helping his team with a 91-72 easy win against Chong Ghee (#6, 1-2). SG Bball has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Ng also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Ng has a great season in Singapore. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 10.0ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 4.0rpg (9th best) and assists with 3.0apg (6th best).
