NBL Round 2 (Regular Season): Adroit keeps a leadership position

Adroit defeated Tagawa in Singapore 78-68. It was a good game for the former international point guard Zhong-Han Wong (183-1997) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Delvin Goh (201-1995) contributed with 8 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-2000) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Tagawa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in was also worth to mention about. SG Bball (2-0) played at the court of Chong Ghee (0-2). SG Bball did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-72. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Shengyu Lim (192-1990) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Jonathan Hai helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Christian Pepito with 24 points and 7 rebounds. SG Bball will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Chong Ghee will play on the road against Siglap (#6) in Singapore and hopes to get finally their first victory.




Chong Ghee - SG Bball 72-91

It was a great evening for the former international power forward Shengyu Lim (192-1990) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Jonathan Hai helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Christian Pepito with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Karl Phua produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. SG Bball will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Chong Ghee will play on the road against Siglap (#6) in Singapore and hopes to get finally their first victory.
