Mohamed's 26 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Zahid Mohamed put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Siglap Basketball Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
He had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Siglap as his team lost the game against SBA (#7, 11-11) 77-89. Siglap maintains the 8th position in Singapore league. Siglap is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 14th lost game this season out of 22 games. In the team's last game Mohamed had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Zahid Mohamed averages this season 10.5ppg and 6.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Larry-Hua Liew (191-G-1993) of top-ranked Adroit Club. He is international guard in his first season at Adroit. In the last game Liew recorded an impressive 23 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led Adroit to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Xin Hua (#5, 13-9) 95-57. Of course Adroit still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 20-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Liew is a newcomer at Adroit and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Sashi Pillay of Tong Whye (#6). Pillay showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tong Whye, leading his team to a 69-58 win against the lower-ranked Tungsan (#10, 4-18). Tong Whye needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 10 lost games. Pillay has a great season in Singapore. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (6th best).

7. Gavin Tay (188-G-1999) of Siglap - 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) of Hornets - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Wei Shern Ooi) of SBA - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Zhong-Han Wong (183-PG-1997) of Adroit - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
