Kelvin Lim gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore NBL (by Hoops Agents)

Singapore Guard Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best SBPHK Hornets and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat SG Bball (#9, 6-15) 81-66. Hornets maintains the 2nd position in Singapore NBL. Hornets has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 19-2. In the team's last game Lim had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Hornets and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Lim has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.3ppg), assists (6th best: 3.3apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 67.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international guard Zhi-Cai Tng (183-G-1998) of SBA. Tng impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 24 rebounds. Of course he led SBA to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Nanyang (#12, 3-18) 72-45. SBA's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-11 record. Tng is well-known by SBA fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Delvin Goh (201-F-1995) of top-ranked Adroit Club. Goh scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Goh's great performance the Adroit lost 72-85 to #3 ranked Chong Ghee. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. That was shocking loss for Adroit and their fans. Hopefully so far almost perfect season will not turn around. They still have impressive 19-2 record in the league holding top position in the standings. Goh plays for a very strong team and Adroit has many quality players. So achieving that high stats is even more impressive. Goh has a very solid season. In 13 games in Singapore he scored 9.5ppg. He also has 7.9rpg and a FGP of 64.8%.

7. Zhi Yun Seet) of Xin Hua - 24 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Eshan Kaul) of Siglap - 22 points and 8 rebounds
9. Yeong-Wooi Khaw (200-C-1990) of Tong Whye - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Zhen Sim (1998) of Tungsan - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
