McKevin's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Alpha McKevin had a great game in the last round for Chong Ghee and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat SG Bball (#9, 5-12) 85-80. Chong Ghee maintains the 4th position in Singapore league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Chong Ghee will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. McKevin turned to be Chong Ghee's top player in his first season with the team. McKevin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 60.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Shengyu Lim (192-F/C-1990) of SG Basketball. He is international forward in his 3rd season at SG Bball. In the last game Lim recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as SG Bball lost that game 80-85 to the higher-ranked Chong Ghee (#4, 11-6). SG Bball is still in a red zone at 9th spot in the standings. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories SG Bball managed to get this year. Lim is one of the most experienced players at SG Bball and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#2). He also registered 9.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000) of Tagawa (#3). Ng scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Tagawa, leading his team to a 72-40 easy win against the lower-ranked Tong Whye (#6, 8-9). Tagawa needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 6 lost games. Ng has a great season in Singapore. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (4th best).

10. Justen Chiam (177-G-2002) of Chong Ghee - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
