Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Singapore: Xin Hua (#5) and Tong Whye (#3). Xin Hua (4-2) smashed visiting Tong Whye (5-2) by 39 points 91-52. Xin Hua dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tong Whye's 32. Xin Hua had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tong Whye's players. Zao Liang Chia scored 16 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Martin Lim chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Lavin Raj V (201-2000) with 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xin Hua have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 4-2 record. Tong Whye at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. Xin Hua are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Tungsan (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tong Whye's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Singapore Adroit.
Police has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Nanyang (2-3) 69-54. Rizal Muhammad notched 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Wei How Chua supported him with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds by Aik Chua-Cheong did not help to save the game for Nanyang. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Police (1-5) left bottom position moving up to tenth place. It was Nanyang's third loss in a row. They keep the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Tagawa. Police will play against higher ranked SBA (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nanyang will play against Tagawa in Singapore and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
NBL top team - Adroit (5-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Siglap (1-6) in Singapore 78-68. The best player for the winners was Qing-De Wu who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Gavin Tay who recorded 12 points and 6 assists. Siglap's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated Adroit have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-0 record. Siglap lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. Adroit's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Singapore to the arena Tong Whye.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: Chong Ghee won against SBA on the opponent's court 74-58. Tong Whye managed to outperform SBA in a home game 66-60. Siglap recorded a loss to Chong Ghee on the road 58-51. SG Bball was crushed by Xin Hua on its own court 62-90.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points, 6 assists and 5 steals by Xing Yuan Han of Xin Hua.




Adroit - Siglap 78-68

NBL top team - Adroit (5-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Siglap (1-6) in Singapore 78-68. Adroit outrebounded Siglap 41-18 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Malaysian guard Qing-De Wu (188-1993) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international swingman Hanbin Ng (193-1989) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Gavin Tay (188-1999) who recorded 12 points and 6 assists and Zahid Mohamed added 12 points respectively. At the other side the best for losing team was Haran Prem who recorded 14 points and Chun-wang Xuan added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. SBA's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chong Ghee maintains fourth position with 4-1 record. SBA lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with SG Bball. Chong Ghee will meet at home SG Bball (#7) in the next round. SBA will play against Siglap and hope to secure a win.

International guard Benjamin Lim (184-1997) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Wei Long Wong who recorded 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Haran Prem added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tong Whye moved-up to second place. SBA lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with four games lost.
