The Regular Season in NBL just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tagawa on the court of Adroit on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Adroit 75-54. Adroit outrebounded Tagawa 48-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Meng Leon Kwek Wei (190-1996) who helped to win the game recording 24 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The former international swingman Hanbin Ng (193-1989) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-2000) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds for Tagawa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Adroit is looking forward to face Chong Ghee in the next round. Tagawa's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Singapore to the arena Siglap.
Another exciting game for Tong Whye which played on the court of SG Bball. Tong Whye eked out just a narrow 2-points road win over SG Bball 75-73. SG Bball was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Marco Kok stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Lavin Raj V chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side the former international power forward Shengyu Lim (192-1990) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tong Whye will play against Tungsan in the next round which should be an easy win for them. SG Bball will play against Nanyang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Police in a game versus undefeated Siglap 64-60. Gavin Tay nailed 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Bayot Ferrera came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds for Police in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Siglap's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Singapore Tagawa.

In the last game of round 1 SBA beat Tungsan on the road 60-48.
The most impressive performance of 1st round was 6 points and 9 rebounds by Sze Tuan Teo of SBA.
