Kelvin Lim gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore NBL (by Hoops Agents)

Singapore Guard Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best SBPHK Hornets and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 27-year old guard had a double-double of 25 points and seventeen rebounds, while his team edged out Xin Hua (#6, 6-5) 87-85. Hornets maintains the 2nd position in Singapore NBL. Hornets has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team's last game Lim had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hornets' top player in his first season with the team. Lim has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.1ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.5rpg), assists (3rd best: 3.2apg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 62.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international forward Lavin Raj V (201-F-2000) of Tong Whye. Raj V impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Tong Whye cruised to a 70-61 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Adroit (#1, 10-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tong Whye consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 8-3 record is not bad at all. Raj V is a newcomer at Tong Whye and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#2). He also registered 10.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Hornets' star - Malaysian Russell Low-Wen. Low-Wen showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was another key player of SBPHK Hornets, helping his team with a 87-85 win against the lower-ranked Xin Hua (#6, 6-5). Many experts and fans count Hornets as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. Low-Wen has a very solid season. In 4 games in Singapore he scored 14.5ppg.

10. Jia Rong Koh) of SBA - 10 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
