Delvin Goh's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Delvin Goh

28-year old forward Delvin Goh (201-F-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Siglap Basketball Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He recorded a triple-double of 11 points adding also 22 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team crushed SAF (#11, 1-9) with 24-point margin 94-70. Siglap maintains the 4th position in Singapore league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Siglap will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Goh turned to be Siglap's top player in his first season with the team. Goh has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 16.1ppg) and averages solid 62.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kelvin Lim (191-G-1996) of league's second-best SBPHK Hornets. He is Singapore guard in his first season at Hornets. In the last game Lim recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Hornets cruised to a 70-60 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked SG Bball (#5, 6-4). Hornets' second position in the standings has not changed. His team belongs to top of the standings with 9-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Lim is a newcomer at Hornets and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.9ppg (#4). He also registered 10.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000) of Tagawa (#10). Ng scored 19 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Ng's great performance Tagawa lost 54-72 to slightly higher-ranked SBA (#8, 3-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tagawa can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ng has individually a great season in Singapore. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.4ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 11.3rpg (4th best) and assists with 3.3apg (8th best).
