Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Xin Hua (4-1) in Singapore on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by top-ranked Siglap (3-0) 80-68. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Delvin Goh (201-1995) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and Reece Low who added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Ching Poh
Yap responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Siglap have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Xin Hua at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Hornets. Siglap will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Xin Hua will play against Zebra and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Singapore: Siglap (#5) and Tong Whye (#4). Even 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds by international guard Yuhui Zhen (180-1998) did not help to save the game for Tong Whye. Siglap have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Tong Whye at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Chong Ghee. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
