Ng's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

23-year old forward Shi-Yu Ng (197-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Tagawa and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team lost the game against the league's best team Xin Hua (#3, 3-0) 65-74. Tagawa moved-up to the 9th position in Singapore league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 1 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Ng had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tagawa's top player in his first season with the team. Ng has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 2.0apg) and averages solid 58.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yeong-Wooi Khaw (200-C-1990) of Tong Whye. He is Malaysian center in his first season at Tong Whye. In the last game Khaw recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Tong Whye to edge Chong Ghee (0-2) by 1 point 74-73. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Khaw is a newcomer at Tong Whye and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 14.3rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Cheng Shan Tan of Xin Hua Sports Club (#3). Tan scored 25 points. He was a key player of Xin Hua, leading his team to a 88-68 easy win against SAF (#6, 1-2). Xin Hua started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Tan turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Tan has a great season in Singapore. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.3ppg (5th best).
