The game in was quite interesting. Third ranked Siglap Black (5-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Qian Xi Blue (2-3). Siglap Black defeated Qian Xi Blue 50-34 on Wednesday. Siglap Black held Qian Xi Blue to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 22.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Siglap Black forced 25 Qian Xi Blue turnovers. Amanda Lim scored 14 points to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Murphy Murad (165, college: S.Connecticut) chipped in 6 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Pei-Sze Chia with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Siglap Black maintains third position with 5-1 record behind leader Qian Xi Red. Qian Xi Blue lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. They share the position with Jumpshot.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Hillcrest Grays (5-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Siglap White (3-3). Hillcrest Grays defeated Siglap White 52-36. Kai-Ting See notched 16 points to lead the effort and Rachel Tan supported her with 13 points. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by Jasmin Toh did not help to save the game for Siglap White. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Undefeated Hillcrest Grays have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Siglap White lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with three games lost.

In the last two games of round 6 Blazers lost to SG Basketball on the opponent's court 69-82. Radin Mas managed to outperform Siglap White in a home game 43-37.

SG Basketball - Blazers 82-69

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Blazers (1-5) were defeated on the road by twelfth ranked SG Basketball (2-5) 82-69. SG Basketball dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Blazers' 28. SG Basketball forced 24 Blazers turnovers and outrebounded them 66-33 including a 31-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Irish Tan notched 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and Shirley Liow supported her with 15 points and 10 rebounds. SG Basketball's coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by Shervonne Lee did not help to save the game for Blazers. Shu-Shan Yap added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Blazers players scored in double figures. SG Basketball moved-up to eleventh place. Blazers at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost.
