Hornets - Adroit 79-90 An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Singapore. Leader Adroit faced second-best Hornets. Guests from (9-0) defeated host Hornets (7-2) 90-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hornets. It was a good game for Hua-Sen Liew Larry (-1993) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Han Wong-Zhong contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Nanyang held Tagawa to an opponent 21.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 22.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Aik Chua-Cheong stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and guard Benjamin Lim (184-1997) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Minghui Pan with 8 points and 5 rebounds and Andrew Zee-Kin scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. International center Lavin Raj V (200-2000) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and Haran Prem chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Adroit's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
