Anthony McClain (ex Raptors) signs at Singapore Slingers

Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers (ASEAN League) landed 30-year old American center Anthony McClain (211-120kg-88, college: Cincinnati). He played in the summer at Raptors in Thailand TBL league. In 17 games he averaged impressive 23.1ppg, 16.2rpg and 1.6apg. He was also selected League Player of the Week (3 times). The last season McClain played at Dacin Tigers (SBL) in Taiwanese league where in 39 games he had very remarkable stats: 17.7ppg, 13.8rpg (leader !!!) and 2.6bpg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Defensive Player of the Year and selected to Honorable Mention.
Among other achievements McClain received Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand TBSL Player of the Year award in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball McClain experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. McClain has played previously professionally also in Malaysia (PRG Warriors), Slovakia (Nitra), Tunisia (U.S.Monastir), Libya (Ahly Benghazi) and Czech Republic (Brno).
He attended University of Cincinnati until 2012 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
