The closely contested match saw Maegen Mahadevan (196-F-2000) lead the charge and earn Player of the Game honors with 14 points, five rebounds, and an efficient 5-of-6 shooting performance. Chun-Hong Ting (193-G-1996) delivered a strong all-around display with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, while Yi-Hou Wong (195-F-1996) added 11 points to support the win. With the hard-fought quarterfinal behind them, Malaysia will next face host nation Thailand in the semifinals.
