Al Ahli Faces Al Arabi, Al Sadd Meets Al Rayyan in the Semi-Finals of HH the Amir Basketball Cup

On Monday, May 4, 2026, the men’s HH the Amir Basketball Cup (2025–2026 season) continues with the semi-final clashes at Al Gharafa Sports Hall. This stage marks the most decisive phase of the tournament as the competition nears its final stretch toward the coveted title.

The first match will feature Al Ahli against Al Arabi at 6:00 PM. Al Ahli advanced after defeating Al Wakrah in the quarter-finals 85–72, relying on a balanced style and strong adaptability to the pace of knockout games. Meanwhile, Al Arabi booked their spot with a commanding 104–73 victory over Qatar Club, showcasing high offensive rhythm, organized teamwork, and effective use of fast transitions and open spaces. The clash is expected to highlight contrasting styles: Al Ahli’s controlled tempo and compact play versus Al Arabi’s speed and open game, promising a highly competitive encounter.

The second semi-final at 8:00 PM will see Al Sadd take on Al Rayyan.
