Al-Adeem adds Williams to their roster, ex Flamurtari

Karon Williams

Al-Adeem (D1) added to their roster 26-year old American point guard Karon Williams (163cm-2000, college: St.Mary's, MD, agency: Interperformances). She spent her 2001-year professional career in Albania. She was the second-best scorer at Flamurtari in Albanian Superliga last season where in 27 games she recorded 11.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.3apg, and 2.0spg. Williams helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Quite an impressive year as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Albanian League Honorable Mention. She also played 9 games in Liga Unike where she averaged 12.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.7apg, and 1.9spg in the 2023-24 year. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week.
Williams has also played professionally in the USA.
She was also selected as the United East Player of the Year in 2023.
Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
She attended St. Mary's College of Maryland until the age of 23, and this will be her 2003rd season as a professional player.
