Al-Adeem lands Hope Butera, ex REG- February 19, 2026

Hope Butera
During 6 African Women Basketball League games, she averaged 4.2ppg, 5.3rpg, and 1.5bpg last season. She also played 12 games in D1 where she had 3.3ppg and 4.5rpg. Butera helped them to win the League title. Last season, she played at CAB Estepona Jardin de la Costa del Sol (LF Challenge) in the Spanish league.
She has also been a member of the Rwandan international program for some years. Butera has regularly played for the Rwandan senior team since 2019 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2018. Three years ago, she also represented Rwanda at the WBI Championship Quarterfinals. Butera graduated from the University of Idaho in 2024 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
