The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Doha: Al Rayyan (#2) and Al Gharafa (#7). Al Gharafa was smashed at home by 16 points 90-106 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Al Rayyan looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU) scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Rion Brown (198, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest.
