Qatar women beat Kuwait in basketball friendly

Qatar's women basketball team defeated Kuwait Women Club 45-38 in a friendly match held in sports hall of Women Club at Aspire Zone on Wednesday.
The friendly matches are considered as preparation for Qatar women national teams in their participation for the forthcoming Gulf Championship which will take place in March in Kuwait.
Dr. Anisa Al Hitmi - President of Qatar Women Sport Committee expressed her happiness on the success achieved by the organising of these friendly sport encounters between the sisters in the two countries, which will boost Women Sport movement in GCC, she also applauded the overwhelming response of Qatari women who attended the two friendly matches.
