Robots tab Ray Parks

Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots (B1 League) signed 33-year-old American (who also holds a Filipino passport) 193cm guard Ray Parks, represented by Slash Sports, for the upcoming season. He spent the last two years playing for Osaka Evessa. Parks averaged 12.3ppg, 3.6rpg, and 2.1apg in 54 B1 League games in Japan last season.
In 2015, he was drafted by the Texas Legends (D-League) in the second round (25th overall).
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Parks represented the Philippines at the SEA Games in Bangkok, Thailand, last year.
He has played for teams such as Giga, Beermen, Bossing, Bulldogs, and Alab Pilipinas in the Philippines.
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season in the Japanese B League West Division in 2024.
