Giga made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Warriors outrebounded Giga 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Warriors helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. South Sudanese-American center Bol Bol (218-1999, college: Oregon) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners and forward Calvin-John Oftana (195-1996) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and Ljay Gonzales scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Giga and five Warriors players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Hotshots - Meralco Bolts 95-89

It was a great shooting night for Hotshots especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Bolts' players. Bolts were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas, agency: Diamond Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Jerom Lastimosa (178-1998) accounted for 17 points. Guard Chris Newsome (187-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) came up with 23 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American center Marvin Jones (213-1993, college: Texas Southern) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Bolts in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

American center Jaylen Johnson (206-1996, college: Louisville, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Bennie Boatwright (208-1996, college: USC) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Painters and five Beermen players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.

Naturalized American forward Justin Brownlee (197-1988, college: St.John's) fired 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Scottie Thompson (188-1993) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG, agency: JCK Sports Group) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and guard Ricci Rivero (185-1998) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
