NLEX RW - SM Beermen 94-101

Beermen outrebounded Warriors 61-39 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Beermen players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. June Mar Fajardo stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 23 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Celedonio Trollano chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Beermen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Robert Bolick (185-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and JB Bahio scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 7 blocks. Guard Rhon Jhay Abarrientos (181-1999) nailed 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winning side and Scottie Thompson accounted for 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Kings players scored in double figures. came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and MJ Garcia added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for FiberXers in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.

Worth to mention a great performance of CJ Cansino who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds. Chris Newsome contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Bolts players scored in double figures. Gian Mamuyac answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Adrian Nocum added 17 points in the effort for Painters.
