Tyler Bey (ex Hotshots) joins Fubon Braves

Taipei Fubon Braves (PLeague+) agreed terms with 26-year old American forward Tyler Bey (201cm-98kg-1998, college: Colorado). He started the season at Hotshots in Filipino PBA league. In 22 games he had very impressive stats: 25.8ppg, 13.0rpg, 2.3apg, 2.3spg and 1.2bpg.
Part of last summer he spent at Colorado in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament. He also played for Bucks in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League.
In 2020 he was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers (NBA) in second round (36th overall). The former University of Colorado standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets), NBA G League (SLC Stars, RGV Vipers and Long Island Nets) and NBA Summer League (Chicago Bulls). Bey's team won PBA Commissioner's Cup Regular Season in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Forward of the Year in 2024.
