There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of PBA and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

FiberXers edged Hotshots in Makati 111-109. FiberXers made 34-of-42 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when FiberXers made 8 blocks. 33 personal fouls committed by Hotshots helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American Jamaal Franklin (196-1991, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Maverick Ahanmisi (188-1991, college: Minnesota) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds for Hotshots. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hotshots will play next round against strong TNT Tropang trying to get back on the winning streak. FiberXers will try to continue on its current victory against Rain or Shine in Manila.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of TNT Tropang (2-1) in Makati. Hosts were edged by NLEX RW (3-0) 110-108. It was a great evening for American guard Jonathon Simmons (198-1989, college: Houston) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Sean Anthony helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Jalen Hudson (198-1996, college: Florida) with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. NLEX RW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. TNT Tropang will play on the road against Hotshots (#10) in Pasig City and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Caloocan City was also quite interesting. SM Beermen (2-0) played at the court of Blackwater Elite (1-2). SM Beermen did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 105-86 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for June Mar Fajardo who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Shawn Glover came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for Blackwater Elite in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. SM Beermen will meet at home Terrafirma Dyip (#5) in the next round. Blackwater Elite will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 3 bottom-ranked Phoenix lost to undefeated SM Beermen on the road 93-114.
