The game in Caloocan City was also quite interesting. SM Beermen (2-0) played at the court of Blackwater Elite (1-2). SM Beermen did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 105-86 on Wednesday. SM Beermen looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was an exceptional evening for center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Cameron Clark (201-1991, college: Oklahoma, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five SM Beermen players scored in double figures. American forward Shawn Glover (201-1990, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and center Yousef Taha (206-1988, college: North Lake CC) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Blackwater Elite in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. SM Beermen will meet at home Terrafirma Dyip (#5) in the next round. Blackwater Elite will have a break next round.
