Al Bashaer inks Samajae Haynes-Jones, ex Slask 2

Samajae Haynes-Jones

Al Bashaer (D1) signed 28-year old American point guard Samajae Haynes-Jones (185cm-82kg-1996, college: Wichita State, agency: One Motive Sports) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He was the top scorer at Exact Forestall Slask II Wroclaw in the Polish 1Liga last season, where in 25 games he had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.5apg, and 1.2spg. Haynes-Jones also played for SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) in the Romanian league. He played 7 games in the Romanian Liga Nationala, recording 5.9ppg, 1.4rpg, and 1.7apg.
He is quite an experienced player. Haynes-Jones has played professionally in Bulgaria (Spartak Pleven), Georgia (RASHI Tbilisi), Greece (Apollon Patras), Hungary (PVSK-Veolia), Romania, North Macedonia (KK Feniks 2010 Skopje), and The Basketball Tournament (Aftershocks).
In addition to these achievements, he also received recognition for his performance during the 2024 season, being voted to the Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Honorable Mention.
Haynes-Jones graduated from Wichita State in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season as a pro player. He also played for Hutchinson Community College for 2 years.
