The Basketball market is a big field for many active scammers who are trying to take advantage of making a ton of basketball player dreams come true to play professionally overseas.
We have published many alert articles about many scammer agents in the Middle East in the last few seasons.. but there are two names that just appeared on the roof recently.
These two scammers are using Nima Smith name and Saeid Mohammadi, the both persons pretend that they have contacts and connections to find you a contract to play in UAE (Dubai), Oman or Iran with a fully guaranteed big money contract.. They will ask you for your passport copy, they will send you a Fake signed and stamped contract which looks very legit, then they will ask you to wire them an agent fees before they send you the flight tickets or get the deal done and if you send them this money then they will disappear and will scam another player, one of the stories they used that Nima is working inside a club or Olympic committee in Dubai so his name can't be in the contract and he can't receive commission from club so he asked for the agent commission upfront from the player before he sent the tickets to him.
They are too good to make everything seems legit, they even photoshped a (Welcome to the club) photo for player and they convinced him that he signed for real with that club.

Nima Smith is using an Instagram account with a fake photos, here is the link of his account:
