Gregoryshon Magee (ex Al-Hashd) joins As Seeb

As Seeb (D1) agreed to terms with 30-year old American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211cm-98kg-90, college: USA) for the new 2021 season. He just played at Al-Hashd in Iraqi Superleague. In three games he had very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 12.7rpg, and 2.3bpg this season.

Part of last season Magee spent at Al Dhafra in the UAE league. He also played for Al Jubaiha in the Jordanian Premier league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.

He is quite an experienced player. Magee's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Magee tasted life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Orangeville A's), Portugal (Maia Basket), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Spain (Azuqueca), El Salvador (ExSAL Santa Tecla and Isidro Metapan), Thailand (Mad Goat), PBL (Danville R.) and MPBA (St.Louis RS).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Magee was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand Basketball League Honorable Mention back in 2018.

Magee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

He attended the University of South Alabama until 2013 and it is his ninth season as a professional player.
