Kuwait beats Oman in FIBA U18 Asian Championship qualifiers

Kuwait Friday beat Oman 69-43 in the GCC Basketball Championship's qualifiers for the 2020 FIBA Under-18 (U18) Asian Championship. This is Kuwait's third victory in the qualifiers which are hosted by Bahrain. Kuwait Team Assistant Coach Waleed Al-Hendi commended the players and their determination to do whatever possible to win the clash against Oman. Qatar beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 63-50, while home team Bahrain clinched its fourth win against Saudi Arabia, beating the Saudis 122-42. Only the first and second-placed teams will gain automatic qualification to the 2020 FIBA U-18 Asian Championship.
