Manama conquered the first victory at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup GBA Qualifiers. They topped Seeb from Oman in Group B opener. Maciej Lampe (211-C/F-85) posted 26 points and 14 rebounds for the winners.
Manama posted a 23:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Seeb narrowed the gap at 9-point mark at the interval. The Omani side went on a 26:15 run in the third term to surge ahead. But Manama responded with a 25:10 rally in the fourth quarter to snatch the win. Terrico White (196-G-90, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 24 points for the winning side. Louis Munks (190-G-90, college: PVAMU, agency: Interperformances) replied with 31 points and 9 rebounds for Seeb.
