Oman league championship race. Top four teams played 6 games in a 12 days. This system of competition was very bad for all four teams, very tiring. Basketball federation did very poor job in organization of finals for Oman league championship. We have to say that mistakes like changing the rules in the middle of the season, changing the system of competition, and schedule in the middle of playoffs it's not something that should happen. Oman league must be better organized ,and most of all players deserve better. Nizwa and Seeb were favorites to win it all. All season top team Seeb entered finals without best player and scorer Deven Coleman, who finished season early with injury. Only team who played with 1 import player Justin Dobbins.First round Seeb played best basketball, made two big comebacks in first two games against Ahli Sidab being down 20 and won by 1 point ,and second game against Itifaq being doun 17 and Seeb again won this time by 7 points . Last game of the first round and best game of the season Seeb in overtime won against Nizwa. In this game team Seeb lost two more players with injury ,but played best basketball seen this year in Oman. In third quarter Seeb played with omany players only, without professional player, and managed to stay in the game. Nizwa as a best team in Oman basketball for many years, also played great game, but Seeb coach Memic one time champion with Nizwa in 2014/15 season managed to take his team to a win in overtime by 6 points. Second round was much better for Nizwa, and they managed to bit hurt Seeb with 7 points difference and became Oman champion. Congratulations to team Nizwa on winning the championship ,and all the best in the future.
