Larry Turner (ex Byblos) agreed terms with Al Nizwa for GCC !!

Al Nizwa (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 34-year old American (has also Dominican passport) power forward Larry Turner (210-109kg-82, college: Tennessee State). He played in the summer at Byblos Sporting Club in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In four games he recorded 10.0ppg and 6.0rpg. The last season Turner played at Apoel (Division A) in Cypriot league. In 11 games he averaged 8.7ppg and 5.0rpg.
His team won Cypriot Cup. Turner was selected to Cyprus League All-Star Game in 2016.
The previous (2015) summer he played at Reales (LNB) in Dominican Rep. league. In 9 games he averaged 5.9ppg and 3.3rpg in 2015 season. The last (2015) season Turner played at ASA Koroivos Amaliadas (A1) in Greek league. In 10 games he averaged 4.6ppg and 3.1rpg in 2014-15 season. He also played at CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (Liga Nationala) in Romanian league that season. In 12 games he averaged 9.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1bpg in 2014-15 season. Turner also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 6.7ppg and 4.5rpg in 2014-15 season. The other team he played shortly was Al Naser in UAE league.
In 2007 Turner was drafted by Minot Skyrockets (CBA) in first round (8th overall).
The former Tennessee State standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Turner has played also professionally in Canada, Japan (Toyama Grouses), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Spain (Alcazar), Ukraine, Venezuela and Greece (Apollon Patras and Panelefsiniakos).
