Kristine Anigwe (ex Athinaikos) joins Homentmen Antelias

Homentmen Antelias (WLBL) added to their roster 29-year old USA-British power forward Kristine Anigwe (193cm-1997, college: California). She played last season at Athinaikos in Greek A1 league. In 11 games she had 12.4ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. She helped them to win the League title and the cup. A very impressive season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek League Bosman Player of the Year, Center of the Year and named to All-Bosmans Team. Anigwe also played 8 games in Eurocup where she recorded 9.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg.
In 2019 she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in first round (9th overall).
The former University of California star is in her eighth season in pro basketball.
She is quite experienced player. Anigwe has played also professionally in Hungary (UNI Gyor), Italy (Ragusa), Turkey (Ormanspor, Izmit and Mersin) and WNBA (Dallas Wings, LA Sparks, Phoenix Mercury and Chicago Sky).
