The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Riyadi as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Riyadi smashed 4th placed Beirut FC at home 103-33. Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Beirut FC's 22. Al Riyadi forced 23 Beirut FC turnovers and outrebounded them 49-20 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Beirut FC's players. It was a good game for the former international center Chirine El Charif (184-1984) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international guard Nour Labban (170-2005) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Maryam Jomaa (165-2003, agency: BIG) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Beirut FC. Beirut FC's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Al Riyadi (14-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Homentmen. Newly promoted Beirut FC keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Beirut FC will play next round against strong Homentmen trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Riyadi will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Azour on the road.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 15: Bkennaya was beaten by Azour on the road 72-62. Antranik lost to NSA on its own court 67-77. Damour managed to outperform Almtayleb in a road game 76-68.
The most impressive performance of 15th round was 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Nathalie Sevadjian of Damour.
