WLBL newcomer Beirut First Club landed 27-year old American 168cm guard Kahlaijah Dean (college: Sacramento State). She played last summer at Ipswich Force in Australian NBL One. In 14 games she averaged impressive 22.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 4.6apg and 1.4spg.
She is a very experienced player. Dean has played also professionally in Greece (Iraklis), Mexico and Sweden (Norrkoping).
Among many awards her college team won Big Sky Conference Tournament in 2023. She received All-Big Sky Conf. Player of the Year award, Big Sky Conf. All-Tournament Team and All-Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year award back in 2023.
Dean graduated from Sacramento State in 2023 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball. She played also for Oakland University for 4 years.
