Best players of Lebanese DLBL round 17 (by Hoops Agents)

American Tyler Bey (201-F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Homentmen Beirut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Maristes (#10, 5-13) 105-97. Homentmen is placed at 4th position in Lebanese DLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Homentmen will need more victories to improve their 10-7 record. In the team's last game Bey had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Homentmen's top player in his first season with the team. University of Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bey is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 63.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Serbian center Stefan Jankovic (211-C-1993, agency: BIG) of Nadim Souaid Academy. Jankovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 17 rebounds. Of course NSA cruised to a 104-94 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Homentmen (#4, 10-7). This victory allowed NSA to move up to 9th position in the standings. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories NSA managed to get this year. Jankovic is a newcomer at NSA and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Christian Brown (198-PF-2000) of Antranik Beirut (#7). Brown got into 30-points club by scoring 41 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Brown's great performance the Antranik lost 86-107 to the league's current leader Al Riyadi (#1, 17-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Antranik needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 9 lost games. Brown has a great season in Lebanon. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.6ppg (best scorer).

10. Julio De Assis (203-F-1992) of Maristes - 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
