American Point guard Jeremiah Gambrell Jr. (190-PG-2000, agency: 0z Sports Agency) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Antranik Beirut, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 25-year old player got a double-double of 27 points and 11 assists, while his team beat Homentmen (7-6) 97-89. Antranik maintains the 7th position in Lebanese DLBL. Antranik is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Gambrell Jr. had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Antranik's top player in his first season with the team. Former Alcorn State University star has very solid stats this year. Gambrell Jr. is in league's top in points (8th best: 23.8ppg) and averages impressive 58.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Anthony Fairley (205-F-1999, agency: BIG) of CJS Batroun. Fairley had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Batroun lost that game 72-81 to league's leader Al Riyadi (#1, 13-0). He was a key player of Beirut Club, leading his team to a 109-77 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Maristes (#9, 5-8). Beirut Club needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 7 lost games. Jackson has a great season in Lebanon. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.3ppg (2nd best).
