Lebanese DLBL round 10 best performance: Paris Bass (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Paris Bass (207-F/C-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Homentmen (#4, 6-4) 131-120. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Sagesse maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese DLBL. Sagesse has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team's last game Bass had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sagesse's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Detroit Mercy star has very solid stats this year. Bass is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.3ppg. Bass is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.3rpg) and averages impressive 62.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Anyeuri Castillo (201-F-1997) of Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh. Castillo had a very good evening with 41 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course Al Markaziyyah cruised to a 98-88 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Batroun (#10, 2-8). Al Markaziyyah's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 8 matches. Castillo is a newcomer at Al Markaziyyah, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.8ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 9.1rpg and 6.4apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jordan Stevens (182-PG-1994) of Homentmen Beirut (#4). Stevens got into 30-points club by scoring 39 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and ten assists. Despite Stevens' great performance the Homentmen lost 120-131 to #2 ranked Sagesse. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Homentmen needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Stevens has a great season in Lebanon. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (8th best) and assists with 8.1apg (3rd best).
