Al Riyadi - Homentmen 104-72

Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Homentmen's 48 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Homentmen 56-30 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for U.S. Virgin Islands-American forward Marcus Georges-Hunt (196-1994, college: Georgia Tech, agency: JCK Sports Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points. Australian-South Sudanese center Thon Maker (216-1997) helped adding 18 points and 13 rebounds. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Tyler Bey (201-1998, college: Colorado) with 24 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) scored 19 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Sagesse made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Guinean-French Sekou Doumbouya (206-2000) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds. American point guard Stefan Moody (179-1993, college: Ole Miss) accounted for 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Sagesse's coach Linos Gavriel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Thomas Wimbush (201-1993, college: Fairmont St., agency: Slash Sports) came up with 27 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Sergio El Darwich (194-1996, college: Maine) added 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals respectively for Beirut Club in the defeat. Five Sagesse and four Beirut Club players scored in double figures.
