E.J. Montgomery joins Nadim Souaid Academy

E.J. Montgomery

Nadim Souaid Academy (LBL) agreed terms with 25-year old American power forward E.J. Montgomery (208cm-103kg-1999, college: Kentucky). He moved there from Birmingham Squadron (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 39 games he had 3.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg last season.
Last year (three years after his graduation) he was drafted by Birmingham Squadron (G-League) in second round (41st overall).
The former University of Kentucky standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He was a member of USA Under 16 National Team back in 2015.
His career allowed him to visit three different continents. Montgomery tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Hungary (Sopron KC), Japan (Watts) and Lithuania.
Among many awards Montgomery's team won SEC Regular Season in 2020. Montgomery was voted Marietta Daily Journal/Cobb County Boys Basketball Player of the Year and Florida's player of the Year back in 2018 at high school. He played also for Milwaukee Bucks for one year.
